Day 22 and FP ideas

I didn’t post my usual morning devotion on my facebook page this morning but during my (2 mi) walk I was noticing all the sections of the track that had been washed away from the many rain/storms we’ve had as of late and it hit me…. that’s what sin does our lives!  Erosion – It’s what happens to our lives every time our steps take us into the world.  “No, it won’t be but so bad if I just of it one time”… but when the second or third time gets easier and here’s what happens… you find you’ve turned away from God and everything you’ve been taught.  Next, you find your life begins to crumble like the during the hard rains.  You get to a point of asking, “God, where are you?”.  He wasn’t the one that walked away, you were!

What I ate today:
E/Strawberry crumb bars
S/Chicken, egg and slice cheese
FP/Chicken soup w/ 2 meringue cookies
FP/Chia tapioca pudding
S/2 scrambled eggs w/ tenderloin (& shredded hashbrowns!)

It occurred to me after eating the SECOND time i ate today that a mini fuel cycle might be THREE days not just one!  I think I may have just got so excited about how much everyone loved the Strawberry Crumble Cake that I jumped the gun 😀  Which brings me to sharing some FP snack ideas (as I feel like I need to make up for missing those DEEP S this morning haha)

To keep my chicken soup FP I used 1-1 ½ c homemade broth, 1 c water, garlic, onion, kale, ginger and just ¼ – ½ tsp tumeric for added flavor (BUT this will stain your container).   Made in the Vitamix for super easy convenience.  Once good and hot I slowed the mixer down to add kale & chicken

Fixed some chocolate covered almond butter bars (which got left out yesterday) and handy dandy (FP) chocolate sauce because I haven’t had any to pour over my apples w/ peanut butter in a while and it’s MY FAVORITE snack for carrying to enthusiast’s ball games ❤

FP snacks:

  1. Protein shake- 1 T. Peanut flour, 1 c. almond milk, 1 scoop vanilla protein powder, 1/2 tsp. coconut extract (optional; I omit), 2 drops liquid stevia, handful of spinach, handful of ice- so yummy and so satisfying. The protein really helps with the hunger!
  2. Lemon Muffin in a bowl-  Follow the directions for the MIB (THM p. 258) & replace cocoa w/ vanilla protein powder, use 1/2 juice of lemon or 1/2 tsp. lemon extract),
  3. Trimmacino light
  4.  Big Boy Smoothie (THM p. 243
  5. Chia tapioca pudding

FP lunch or dinner

1  Egg white omelet w/ sauté veggies
2  Chicken tortilla soup
3  Sweet & Spicy Asian Stir Fry (page 341)
4  Wasa cracker w/ tuna & cucumber slices

PS….Mini Fuel Cycle is just ONE day can be however long you like, only it’s no longer a mini if more than 5 days lol~
