New Year New You AdvoCare 24 Day Challenge / Cleanse / 9

on January 14, 2015

Can you hear the tick-tock of the clock saying TWWWO MOOOORRE DAYSSSS? THEN what? Well, then you get to hit the MAX PHASE of the 24DC Challenge. You’ve learned how to eat, what to and not to eat, you’ve gotten used to water consumption, and you’ve started a light exercise program. Chances are you’ve got more energy than you have had in….well, a while! I’m guessing your cravings have subsided and I’m willing to bet you’ve lost inches and/or pounds (whoop whoop) and not only that YOU’RE FEELING AMAZ’N?! 🙂

Day 9 / Cleanse
Spark + Fiber + Probiotic (+Catalyst opt)
BREAKFAST: 3-way Egg Cups
SNACK: Turkey lettuce wrap w/ blueberries
LUNCH: Salad or leftovers
SNACK: Bear Naked Bar (on the go!) w/ blueberries
DINNER: (4 Omega) Meatloaf w/ steamed broccoli and sweet potatoe (cinnamon/coconut oil or honey)

This recipe makes about 12 muffins.
12 eggs (organic, free range)
A little coconut oil, olive oil or grass-fed butter to line the muffin tins with
Sea salt + pepper to taste
Vegetables — 3 kinds:
Tomato + basil (1/4 cup chopped tomatoes, 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil)
Kale + garlic (1/2 cup chopped kale, 3 cloves chopped garlic)
Cilantro + green onion (1/4 cup chopped cilantro, 1/4 cup green onion)
I’ve even done broccoli and cheese before
Pre-heat oven to 350. Lightly grease muffin tins with coconut oil, olive oil or grass-fed butter.
Chop veggies.
Whisk eggs well in a large bowl, add sea salt + pepper.
Stir in veggies. (If you’re making different flavors, you’ll need to ration the eggs into different bowls for each flavor).
Bake for 20-25 mins, or until eggs are fully cooked through.

1 lb cooked ground turkey or grass-fed beef
1 cup Salsa (homemade)
1/2 tbs (homemade) Taco seasoning
1.5 cups cooked Black beans,
Big leaf lettuce (I use Romaine)
Drizzle of EVOO
Sprinkle of (homemade) Italian seasoning
Layer all items atop lettuce and wrap smile emoticon

1 – 1.5 lb Turkey Breast (can use grass-fed beef if prefer)
1 egg OR 2 egg whites
1/2 cup tomato sauce (No Sugar Added)
1/4 cup shredded carrots
1/2 cup chopped red/white onion
1/2 cup Old Fashioned Oats
1/2 cup chopped bell pepper (any color green, yellow, orange or red)
Dash of garlic powder
Dash of basil
Mix all ingredients together, except for tomato sauce. Lightly grease a loaf pan with no fat/no calorie cooking spray. Place meat mixture in the loaf pan and top with tomato sauce. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.

Someone made mention to me that just because I enjoy being in the kitchen doesn’t mean everyone else does so maybe next cleanse, I’ll plan a “simpler” menu if you’d rather 😉 (I just got so bored my first challenge sticking to JUST eggs, shakes, chicken and broccoli! I like to make things a lil’ more adventurous) HaHaHa I ain’t gonna lie, I do ❤ being in my kitchen!!
