New Year New You AdvoCare Challenge / Cleanse / Day 2

on January 7, 2015

So…how did your DAY 1 go? I hope you weighed AND measured (I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised at the end when you re-check). Did you stay on track? Did you record water intake and did you consume enough? I FORGOT to mention that you should be taking (4) OmegaPlex (I take 4 w/ dinner but you can split them 2 x 2 if that’s easier for you). As long as you’re on track 85-90% I’d call this day extremely successful!

Tell me…what did you think about your pancakes this morning? I uhhh, actually ran out of almond butter (had approx 1/4 cup) so I added peanut butter (my own all natural) but they were a hit w/ the hubby (yeah), I added some sliced bananas over his and he said, “These are even better…peanut butter banana? Mmmm”

I will go ahead and tell you, there’s a fairly large possibility tomorrow that you will find yourself w/ a headache. Don’t worry, this is totally normal! You gotta remember you’ve been putting garbage into your body for a while now and the detox has gotta start somewhere :/

DAY 2 / Cleanse:
Upon waking drink SPARK (1 pack/scoop w/ approx 8-10 oz water)
**Catalyst if you’ve added that
W/n 30 mins FIBER DRINK (1 pack w/ 6-8 oz water)
**I combine my fiber w/ my spark for ONE step

BREAKFAST: Protein Muffins w/ blackberries
SNACK: Cucumber Tuna Rolls
LUNCH: Left-overs
SNACK: 2 Boiled Eggs w/ grapes
DINNER: Balsamic Chicken w/ brown rice & baked beans (+4 Omega)

WHY at bedtime you ask? Well, for me personally, I take those bad boys to the bed w/ me and throw’em back when I’m ready to go to sleep. IF I take them any amount of time beforehand they make my head feel really bad I can’t say that will be the case w/ you but…just be aware

1 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup applesauce, unsweetened
1/2 banana, mashed
1 1/2 cups, Old Fashioned rolled oats
1-2 Tbsp chia seeds *optional
1/4 cup chocolate protein powder (can sub Advo MRS or Muscle Gain)
1/2 tablespoon ground cinnamon
2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/3-1/2 cups milk (I use almond or rice)
1/4 cup chopped walnuts *optional
1/4 cup dark chocolate chips (I use Lily’s)
I combined the banana and wet ingredients into a large mixing bowl and the dry ingredients in a separate bowl, stirring both well. Then I combined the two and using an ice cream scoop, scooped the mix into the muffin pan. Spray your muffin pan with cooking spray first!
Bake at 350 degrees for about 30-35 minutes. I eat two in the morning for breakfast.

Slice cucumbers thin, long ways. Top w/ tuna, salt & pepper to taste. Roll and enjoy

Chicken breasts lightly marinated in balsamic vinegar, sprinkled w/ basil. 350 for approx. 45 mins (time varies by breast size)

NOW…for Day 3…oh I can’t wait, I’m so excited…prepare to be amazed because YOU WILL feel a difference 🙂
