Day 2 Cleanse

Day 1 d-o-n-e…HOW WAS IT?  Did you stick to plan?  What did you eat?  Did you have enough water?  Forget to take your Herbal Cleanse pill pack at bedtime?  (Down’t worry just tack it on at the end of day 4 when you ordinarily wouldn’t have one)

Upon waking in the morning……
Step 1 Mix scoop/pk Spark w/ 6-8 oz water (+3 catalyst)
Step 2 W/n 30 minutes mix fiber pk w/ 6-8 oz water   **Now depending on what flavor your Spark is I would combine these two steps into 1 (I use Mandarin Orange for that)
Step 3 W/n 30 minutes EAT BREAKFAST (you do not HAVE to wait 30 mins and you may say “I’m too full from the fiber” but you need to eat w/n an hour of waking each day. This lil’ trick will boost your metabolism by 30% for the day)

Breakfast: Almond butter pancakes (@detoxinista) w/ SF syrup
**This is a S meal; GF/DF/SF
Snack:  2/Hardboiled eggs w/ few grapes
**This is a S snack:  GF/DF/SF
Lunch:  Mixed greens salad w/ 4 oz tuna (squeeze juice of lemon over)
**This is a FP meal:  GF/DF/SF
Snack:  Celery sticks w/ natural peanut butter & raisins
**This is a S snack:  GF/DF (SF..depending on you PB)
Dinner:Texas chicken tortilla soup NO tortilla (@mrcriddleskitchen)
**This is a FP meal;  GF/DF/SF **DON’T FORGET 4/OMEGAS

Almond Butter Pancakes:  2 eggs, 1/2 c almond butter, 1/2 c unsweet applesauce, 1/2 tsp of each baking soda, cinnamon & vanilla

Texas Chicken Tortilla Soup (NO tortilla):
Cooked chicken breasts shredded
6 cups of fat free chicken broth
1 large zucchini chopped
1/2 a large onion chopped
3 garlic cloves chopped
1 large bell pepper
1/4 to 1/3 cup of chili powder
1 tbsp. cumin
1 tsp salt or to taste
1/2 a jar of salsa (optional)
Fresh tomato, cilantro, lime for topping
Baked Blue Corn Tortilla Chips (E option) OMIT FOR CLEANSE/FP
Cheese, sour cream, avocado (S option) OMIT FOR CLEANSE/FP

Directions:   Cook your chicken (boil or bake or skillet cook then shred). Chop up all your veggies. Get a pan heating on medium heat with 1 to 2 tbsp. of Olive Oil. Add your veggies to the heated oil and cook for 10 minutes until the vegetables are tender. Add your spices. Pour in your six cups of fat free chicken broth. Simmer. Add your chicken and let simmer for 20 minutes or so. Optional- add half a jar of salsa or rotel. Garnish with fresh pico, salsa, cheese, sour cream, etc etc. ENJOY!!


I do not have a class/Tuesday so I will be doing the following arm workout..summer’s coming, which means tank tops, spaghetti straps and probably something resembling a bathing suit LOL~


Now, I ain’t gonna lie, if you’re new to the cleanse and this is your first time, you COULD start to experience a headache.  DON’T WORRY!  This is normal and it will eventually pass.  The reason for it is that your body is DETOXING (this is what we want!).  You are trying to come off sugar (reason), you are becoming less dependant on your crappy soft drinks/sodas (reason), you are drinking more water (flusing out toxins) and training your body to crave nutritious rather fatty delicious 😉
