Day 9 – Advocare 24DC

DAY 9:  TUESDAY 1/14/14 For weight reduction, go with leaner forms of meat. Replace cream-based sauces with ones that focus on vegetables, like chutneys and salsas

Can it be?  Really?  Just today and tomorrow left on our 10 day cleanse!  WOW, I feel like it just flew by didn’t you?

Upon waking, mix Spark (pouch or scoop) w/ 8 oz water & take your Probiotic Restore W/n 30 mins mix fiber drink w/ 8 oz water

BREAKFAST:  Breakfast burrito:  E/GF/DF: Using a sprouted/whole-wheat tortilla/wrap, fill w/ a scramble of egg white adding whatever leftover veggies and/or meat you might have (i’m going w/ small pc of salmon sauteed w/ coconut oil and spinach) and a side of berries

SNACK:  (Emeralds) 15/Chocolate almonds:  S/GF/DF The way my timing is on Zumba/class days, I TRY to have something that travels well that I can have BEFORE going in

LUNCH:  7 Superfoods salad w/ pumpkin seeds, rotissere chicken & a dressing of fresh squeezed lemon juice

SNACK:  Whey smoothie:  S/DF: 1 scoop of favorite flavor whey protein into blender Add 3/4 cup water or coconut water 1 Tbsp coconut oil (quick energy burst) Sweetener Blend.  While running add 1/4 c hot/boiling water (emulsifies coconut oil) Add lots of ice & blend more

DINNER:  Crockpot mexican style chicken:  S/DF Pour 1 jar of salsa & tomatoes in to cook on LOW all day w/ chicken (or lean ground beef fine) Can serve over quinoa or brown rice, maybe add some peppers & onions for the mexican “feel”

My exercise today is, you guessed it, an hour of ZuuuuuuuuuuuuumBA (whoop whoop)!  And you?  Are you planning a class?  A walk?  A DVD?  May I suggest a rendition of last nights suggested routine?  Starting w/ 25 jumping jacks to warm up, 20 leg lifts (each side), followed up by 15 sit-ups and don’t forget to cool down w/ stretching.
