Day 7 – Advocare 24DC

DAY 7:  SUNDAY 1/12/2014:

1.Fitness isn’t one thing, it is lots of things. It’s up to you to determine what that thing is for you. Then you have to do it consistently
2.You do have time to exercise!
3.Eating healthy is not about dieting; it’s about fueling your body for life and performance. It means eating clean 80-90% of the time, then indulging (NOT OVER-INDULGING) 10-20% of the time.

NO FIBER!  (Monday we’re back on the fiber & entering the home stretch)
Upon waking mix Spark (pouch or scoop) w/ 8 oz water
Take your Probiotic Restore (Cleanse Box/tiny white pills)

This is the day The Lord hath made, we will rejoice and be glad in it~  I do minimal cooking on Sundays and I do not “workout” (unless you count my few minutes in the floor working out haha..hey, it IS movement)

BREAKFAST:  Kids will get leftover breakfast from sometime earlier in the week (usually make extra pancakes at some point) OR I’ll make us all smoothies.  Today, I’m trying “cereal” Breakfast nut mix – S (made last night)
1/4 c raisins
1/2 c coconut milk
2 Tbsp melted coconut oil
1 tsp canilla
1/2 tsp almond extract
2 c raw sunflower seeds
2 c raw pumpkin seeds (omitted)
1 c raw chopped pecans
1 c raw sliced almonds
2 c unsweetened coconut flakes
In food processor chop/pulse raisins until form paste.  Place in small bowl and add milk and oil.  Mix thoroughly.  Add vanilla and almond extract and stir to combine.  Combine seeds, nuts & coconute.  Stir in the reserved raisin mix and blend well.  Spread on baking sheet and bake 350 for 15 mins.  Remove & allow to cool

SNACK:  Handful of almonds (b/c I can sneak to eat these between church services heehee)

LUNCH:  We generally go out for lunch on Sundays..bad part is it’s buffet style..the good part is they have an awesome selection on the salad bar.  I’ll fix a mixed green salad w/ cucumber, egg, tiny speckle of bacon bits, sunflower seeds, broccoli and chicken (skin removed).

SNACK:  Oh Yeah protein bar – E (this is travel time for us going from VA to NC and I’m NOT willing to cave into the drive-thru temptation)

DINNER:  Unfortunately dinner is the LAST meal that gets prepared on Sundays!  We will all “fend for ourselves” so to speak (which is funny b/c I’m still the one trying to figure out what everyone should have).  Princess will get her PB&J w/ some fruit and probably popcorn.  My son is w/ his dad (probably eating take out and highly processed foods!)  Dad & I will either have some sort of leftovers OR a salad
(**Take 2-4 OmegaPlex w/ dinner.  IF you find four too much at once, you can split between two meals)

**THIS IS THE LAST NIGHT for those horse pills…er uh…Herbal Cleanse pill pack (now this makes me very happy!  Those are the hardest things to get down)  HOWEVER, tomorrow we’re back onto the Fiber drink (whoop whoop…call me crazy)

Now, even though I don’t always mention this fact…YOU HAVE GOT TO DRINK THE WATER!  I know at first it seems difficult to get that kind of water in ya but ya gotta do it.  It’s gonna benefit you in sooooo many ways!  Keep tally marks or write down bottle count so that you’re sure to get enough every day!
