24 Day Challenge / Day 9

on March 13, 2013

You’re nearing the end of your 10 Herbal Cleanse… You’ve got no cravings, your jeans are lil’ big and you feel the energy you felt 10-20-30 years ago (i know, i know..YOU’RE WELCOME)

#3  EAT!

4 Omega @ dinner. JUST ONE MORE DAY OF CLEANSE and then you move on to your HAPPY BOX/MNS

**Fit Tip:  Preparing ahead helps me to be successful during the week. If I don’t have a plan our diet often times is what suffers when we get so busy with school, work and sports. And not just my nutrition, the entire family’s. I’ve been busy this afternoon baking chicken, cutting fruit and veggies and making some easy meals for the week.  Taking an hour or two on the weekend to prepare meals for the week definitely pays off!

BREAKFAST:  Banana breat oatmeal bars
SNACK:  2-3 hard-boiled eggs and handful of berries
LUNCH:  Southwest red quinoa & chicken salad
SNACK:  Rice cake w/ natural peanut/almond butter & grapes
DINNER:  Turkey fajita taco salad

Banana Bread Oatmeal Bars
*2 1/2 cups old fashion oats
*3 1/2 cups unsweetened vanilla almond milk
*2 ripe bananas (the riper the better!)
*2 egg whites
*2 T melted butter
*1/8-1/4 cup agave nectar (depending on how sweet you want it)
*1 T cinnamon
*1 t baking powder
*1 t vanilla
*Mix all ingredients together
*Pour into a 9×11 baking pan (spray pan with cooking spray)
*Bake at 350 until oatmeal is bar consistency (about 30 mins)
*Serve warm alone or topped with fruit
When it is finished, pack it up in containers to make a quick breakfast for the next few days.  Tastes like banana bread.

Michelle, this looks good…..would love to see buttons for the recipes that are separated by buttons by breakfast, snack, lunch & dinner. I like your personal touch on the exercise bit and how you got started. I wish it worked for me!
